    Members of the Mineola Junior Fire Department attended a lecture and video event on how to stop bleeding from serious injuries at NYU Winthrop University Hospital.

    After the training, there was a hand on experience for the junior and department members.

    Under medical supervision the members used the tools provided by the hospital staff to react to state of emergencies dealing with severe wounds.
