STAC students attend Stage the Change

On Jan. 14, Herricks High School’s STAC students attended the Stage the Change eighth annual conference, whose mission is to “help students become global citizens through creativity and performance.”

The conference included a panel discussion with Broadway actors Krystal Joy Brown and Zi Alikhan. Students actively participated in workshops with professional playwrights, dancers and activists.

They also had the opportunity to participate in the keynote and Q&A with acclaimed playwright, Tony award nominee, and Macarthur Genius Grant recipient Dominique Morriseau.
