Mothers’ Group of Manhasset, a membership organization in Manhasset dedicated to supporting mothers in the community through every facet of motherhood, recently hosted its first ever Women’s Entrepreneur Night which took place on March 29 at Publican’s.
More than 30 women came out to attend the event which featured a panel of six local Manhasset Moms who started their own businesses and have achieved success in their various industries.
The discussion was moderated by Mothers’ Group of Manhasset board member Amy Fathers and panelists for the event included:

Mothers’ Group members had the opportunity to hear from the panel of all-star Manhasset Moms about how they started their own businesses and grew them to where they are today. The exciting hour-long discussion focused on a range of topics – everything from the first steps to launching a business, how to grow and thrive in a changing business environment, balancing work and family and leveraging skills from a previous career in a new business venture.
The evening kicked off with welcome drinks and appetizers in a private event space at Publican’s, followed by an engaging discussion by the panelists and a Q&A from the audience. After the panel ended, guests enjoyed time to network and catch up with other Moms in attendance over food and drinks.
“This was our first ever Women’s Entrepreneur Night, and I can say without hesitation that it was a total success,” said Jaime Lambros, President of the Mothers’ Group of Manhasset. All of our panelists were so thoughtful, engaging and informative and we have received such positive feedback since hosting the event. We will definitely plan it again for next year.”
In addition to its Women’s Entrepreneur Night, the Mothers’ Group of Manhasset most recently held a Mayweather fitness class at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness in Manhasset on March 27; a Ladies’ Glam Night at NuBest Salon & Spa followed by dinner at Sandro’s on March 31; and its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 9 at Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club.
The group has a host of upcoming events to end out the school year, including an upcoming class in May for its members at Orange Theory Fitness in Port Washington, a Spring Ladies’ Tennis Scramble, a yoga charity event and ice cream social for the kids in June and an end of year mothers’ social event are all in the works.
The group also organizes regular Moms’ Night Outs, Couples’ Events, Playgroups, Mom Meet Ups, and a Ladies’ Monthly Book Club.
