North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena met with students from Manhasset High School’s Social Studies Honor Society on Wednesday, April 10.
DeSena engaged the students in a lively discussion about why she wanted to run for town supervisor, what the job entails, and how local government affects the daily lives of residents throughout North Hempstead and beyond.
Students then participated in a Q&A with DeSena to get a better understanding of the importance of local government.
