Long Island’s Forgotten Heroes

The Village of New Hyde Park and the Inn at New Hyde Park will be hosting a showing of “Long Island’s Forgotten Heroes”, a one-hour documentary showcasing the reality of what’s going on with local combat veterans.

The documentary, directed by New Hyde Park native Matthew Simoni, focuses on his personal story and features the stories of homeless veterans from homeless encampments and train stations, among other places.
