Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) honored Anthony John Schiano – Plainview/Old Bethpage Troop 423’s newest Eagle Scout – during a Court of Honor ceremony on Saturday, June 4.

During the ceremony, which was held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plainview, Legislator Drucker presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to Anthony in recognition of the accomplishments and community service that earned him the highest rank in Scouting.
“By dedicating himself to community service, Anthony has reached the pinnacle of Scouting and strengthened the fabric of our community by applying the leadership skills he has gained along that journey,” Legislator Drucker said. “It was my pleasure to congratulate this outstanding young man and wish him tremendous success as he embarks on what I know will be a bright future.”
