The Lakeville Civic Association had a very successful Veterans Drive on Saturday, Nov. 13. The association received approximately 500 lbs of food that we donated to the East Meadow Veterans Pantry.
The association also received $1,065 which we distributed to various Veterans charities – $400 to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, $300 to the Wounded Warrior veteran Firefighters Nassau County and $365 to the Town of North Hempstead Veterans drive.
