On Sunday, April 24, Senator Anna M. Kaplan and the Sid Jacobson JCC held an Earth Day event for kids and their families at the JCC in East Hills. Kids were able to plant their own Eastern White Pine seedlings to take home and make eco-themed arts and crafts projects. The “Miracle Musicians” entertained the crowd with a musical performance, and numerous volunteers from the JCC volunteered their time to make sure the event ran smoothly.
