Hillside Grade School sixth graders in Eileen Prymaczek’s class were selected as the Grand Champion in the Class Anthology category of the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association’s 36th annual Student Poetry Contest. The class was recognized for their anthology work “Poems of Renewal.”
The students have been invited to attend the Student Poetry Contest Awards Celebration at the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association in Huntington Station on May 15.
