The Council for Economic Education announced its 2017 recipients of the Alfred P. Sloan Teaching Champion Awards, which honor three outstanding teachers in the New York City metropolitan area for excellence in economic education. One of these recipients, Doug Kramer, teaches at Herricks High School in New Hyde Park and lives in Long Beach. Kramer received his award at CEE’s Visionary Awards gala in New York City on October 25.
