The Herricks Community Fund’s 24th Annual Carnival is just a month away.
The Herricks Carnival is a community tradition, as nearly 10,000 people attend the springtime festivities every year. The carnival attracts friends and families from the local and surrounding areas to the Herricks Community Center as the grounds are transformed — filling up with food, games, and rides for children and adults alike.
This year’s carnival will be held Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 2.
The Herricks Community Fund is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people of all ages in our community. All funds raised by the HCF directly benefit the programs we support, including over a million dollars since its inception to the Our Space Adult Day Program, Senior Nutrition Program, Herricks Players, Senior Citizens Programs, Herricks Youth Council, Herricks Teacher Mini–Grants, Scouts, Herricks School District, Herricks Scholarship Fund, and Herricks Community Fund Scholarships.
The carnival has been a late springtime staple in the community for over two decades.
Doreen Ehrbar, co-vice president of the Fund says, “The carnival is a great place to convene — to see familiar friends and family, meet new neighbors, and reconnect with those in the community you haven’t seen in years.”
The Herricks Community Fund expresses its gratitude to the carnival sponsors and people like you, who have made this event possible through your faithful attendance of the carnival over the last 24 years.
