The 2017 Annual Barbara Mandell Tennis Party, was held Wednesday evening, September 6, at Bevanda, a popular local restaurant.
The party was a resounding success, as tennis players gathered to show their appreciation to Barbara for her tireless efforts arranging tennis games at Memorial Field.
This year’s event was especially noteworthy as Mandell was honored by the Great Neck Park District. Commissioners Dan Nachmanoff and Frank Cilluffo presented Barbara with a certificate “in recognition of her devoted service and valuable contributions to Memorial Field tennis programs. ”
Live entertainment by KINDRED SOUL enhanced the evening filled with lively conversation, camaraderie and dancing. Everyone agreed the party was a great finale to an enjoyable season of tennis.
