Great Neck Library special program: Making Memories through the Arts led by Marcy Rholdes

The Making Memories through the Arts program for individuals with memory loss and their caregivers will take place at the Great Neck Library at 159 Bayview Ave. in Great Neck on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m.

The program provides enjoyable clips of classic films, all accompanied by guided conversation and reminiscence led by social worker Marcy Rhodes. Recognizing movie clips has the power to spark memories and create emotional connections.

The event provides participants with opportunities to laugh, discuss, and socialize with others. This stroll down memory lane will engage everyone in attendance.

Making Memories programs have been run successfully out of multiple venues throughout Long Island, receiving notable press and, most importantly, evoking important sensory memories for hundreds of people dealing with memory loss and their care partners.
