Nassau County Legislator Ellen Birnbaum is teaming up with the Manhasset-Lakeville Water-Fire District to sponsor a back-to-school supply drive.
Donors can drop off new or unused supplies at the main library and Parkville branch through Aug. 27 during library hours. Main is located at 159 Bayview Avenue and Parkville is at 10 Campbell Street (off Lakeville Road) in New Hyde Park.
Requested supplies include: Backpacks, notebooks, No. 2 pencils, colored pencils, colored markers, crayons, and glue sticks.
“We can all do our part to ensure every student is prepared to thrive in the new school year,” said Birnbaum. “I am proud to once again partner with the Manhasset-Lakeville Water-Fire District to sponsor this school supply drive and thank residents for their ongoing support of this effort.”
