The Great Neck Library would like to express our gratitude to Professor Yuan for creating a beautiful painting of the Main Library.
The painting is on display at the Main Library. Yuan has also lent his artistic skills to support programming at the library, including our Lunar New Year event and Calligraphy class.
Graduated from Suzhou Fine Arts College, Professor Yuan Yixin studied under the famous flower and bird painters Xinjia Zhang and Jixin Zhang of the Wuwen School of Painting in China. Professor Yuan has been engaged in art education for more than 30 years and once served as the executive director of the Suzhou Art Education Society.
