On Thursday morning, No. 11, the Great Neck Alert Junior Firefighters, along with members of the Alert, Vigilant and Manhasset-Lakeville fire companies, participated in the Great Neck Veterans Day Parade.
The parade stepped off from the Alert Fire Company headquarters at 555 Middle Neck Road and marched to the Village Green.
Nov. 11 2021 marked the 103rd anniversary of the signing of the armistice, officially marking the end of hostilities during World War I between the Allied Forces and Germany.
