Mineola Mayor Scott Strauss and Mineola Memorial Library Director Charles Sleefe joined Girl Scout Troop No. 1447 and their troop leader Denise Klass in the installation of a rock garden outside the Mineola Library.
The purpose of the rock garden is for the community to be able to admire and take an inspirational rock.
