Garden City Park School will kick off its summer reading event with “Author’s Night” next Thursday.
The event will be held in the Garden City Park School Gym from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Kids can buy books, meet authors and have their books signed.
There will be 22 authors attending from the metropolitan area.
These authors’ books will be appropriate for grades kindergarten through eighth. Their books cover a variety of genres including fiction picture books, fiction chapter books, bilingual Spanish/English books, Jewish holiday, poetry, mystery, fantasy, nonfiction picture books, and nonfiction chapter books.
