Floral Park Memorial High School hosted a “Red Out Day” on Sept. 29 for the victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
Student Council members sold red hearts that were put on display in the school hallways.
In addition, students, faculty and staff were encouraged to wear red as a show of support to those who are suffering from the consequences of these devastating storms. After school, students and faculty posed for a picture on the football field in the shape of a heart. Proceeds will go to relief organizations.
