Thirty-six students from Floral Park Memorial High School went to Floral Park-Bellerose Elementary School to participate in the Junior Achievement High School Hero program on April 10.

The students attended two training sessions to prepare for this event, learning how to prepare lesson plans and activities for elementary-age children. The students were then assigned to a kindergarten, first- and second-grade class and taught them based on the subjects of family and community.

The event was coordinated by Margaret Nelson of the Floral Park Business Department. Nelson accompanied the students, along with Erin Sebber.
