Elmont Memorial High School junior Chigozirim Ifebi won first place at the New York State Science and Engineering Fair, held at the New York Hall of Science on March 28.
Ifebi was recognized for her project “How to Train your Multi View Cloth Classifier,” which was in the Robotics category. Her first-place win earned her a place at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair to be held in Atlanta, Georgia in May.
