East Hills Elementary School students in Ms. Parmakian’s fifth grade class enjoyed some fun Valentine’s Day activities that encompassed a variety of skills from STEAM education. Working in teams, they built towers out of toothpicks and gummy hearts and experimented with solubility by placing and observing conversational hearts in water at varying temperatures.
