Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso recently stopped by Manorhaven Beach Park and thanked all the people who took the time to clean the shoreline. He stressed how important it is to keep the beaches clean so that the garbage does not end up in the water and harms sea life.

“As a member of the New York State Assembly Environmental Conservation Committee and chair of the Assembly’s LI Sound Task Force I know how important it is to maintain our beaches so I am always ready to pitch in and lend a hand,” he said. “Unfortunately, this time due to the numerous Pride in Port celebrations I was only able to stop by and say thank you for a job well done.”
