State Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso got a chance to get together with friends visiting from his hometown in Italy, Formia, at their annual picnic held in Manorhaven.
Formia’s Mayor Paola Villa sent her warm wishes to the ‘La Comunità Formiana D’America’ Association.
“As a long-standing member of the association ‘La Comunità Formia D’America,’ I treasure every event when we host guests from my beloved birthplace who come here for a visit,” D’Urso said. “We reminisced about our experiences growing up at a time when Formia was being rebuilt after WWII. I reciprocated their visit here by committing to visit Formia in the near future.”
