Assemblyman Anthony D’Urso attended the Town of North Hempstead Memorial Day commemoration ceremonies honoring those who gave their lives in defense of our freedom.
This event, featuring the U.S. Marines, is held annually at the North Hempstead Beach Park where thousands of people come out to see the fireworks.
“Many people gathered here to remember our veterans and the sacrifices they made to fight to preserve our freedom,” D’Urso said.
