North Hempstead Supervisor Jennifer DeSena recently attended MTO Shahmaghsoudi’s donation giveaway event at the North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center that coincided with the International Day of Education on Jan. 24.
DeSena both congratulated and thanked the organization for their incredible efforts in donating a total of 110 giftbags for students in our communities. 40 bags were donated to students at the North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center, and 70 bags were donated to students at the “Yes We Can” Community Center.
DeSena presented the organization with a Proclamation of Recognition for their work.
