Council Member Veronica Lurvey attended Hadassah Nassau’s Walk-a-Thon for Stem Cell Research held on May 15 at the Nassau County Museum of Art. Attendees participated in this fundraiser for stem cell research for the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem.
Since 2006, Hadassah Nassau has raised nearly $1.5 million towards stem cell research.
Lurvey honored Ellen Domitch, Lynne and Arnie Gordon, Sandy Rosen, and Jim Rotenberg with proclamations of recognition for their dedication to Hadassah Nassau and the local community.
