Council Member Veronica Lurvey recently met with several community organizations and provided them with free COVID-19 test kits courtesy of the Town of North Hempstead. Recipients included the Great Neck Kosher Food Pantry, Mashadi Jewish Center of Great Neck, the Great Neck/Manhasset EOC, the Shelter Rock Food Pantry, and Copay. More than 2,300 testing kits were distributed to help residents gain easy and free access to COVID-19 testing.
