North Hempstead Council Member Veronica Lurvey recently partnered with Yad Leah to host a community clothing drive benefiting Israel on Nov. 12.
The drive collected over 600 bundles of items which included new and gently used children’s and adult clothing, shoes, linens, towels, and bags to be given to soldiers and families affected by the war.
