Compass, the real estate technology company, announces that it has expanded its presence in Long Island. The national company recently opened new offices in Rockville Centre and Woodbury, welcoming over 30 agents known for their local expertise.

As technology continues to enhance the home selling and buying process. Compass’ expanded presence in the region comes on the heels of the company launching 15 major new markets this year alone including North Carolina, Missouri, Indiana, and Minnesota, further boosting the industry’s leading agent referral network from coast to coast.

“I joined Compass to provide my clients with the industry’s leading technology and support my business with the industry’s leading national referral network,” said Karen Elefante. “I am excited to take my business to another level, and play a role in what the future of real estate looks like.”

With the new Long Island offices, Compass has over 300 agents in the North and South Shore, most of which onboarded virtually during the pandemic.

Compass equips agents with a technology platform that optimizes the way they run their business from customer service management to marketing. The platform is updated regularly by hundreds of engineers.

Most recently the company introduced Video Studio, an AI-powered, video-based suite of tools that empowers agents to create professional, custom listing videos in minutes and share them seamlessly with their networks.

“With Compass in the area, we have the opportunity to help locals sell their homes faster and for more money and welcome new buyers to the places we know and love,” said Fran Mazer, a founding agent who is working out of the Woodbury office.

In 2019, the company welcomed the Colombos-Dooley Team, expanding its presence to the North Shore and with this latest expansion, adds a bigger presence to the South Shore as well. The Rockville Centre office is located at 10 Merrick Road, Suite 430W.

Local expert, Karen Elefante, who was formerly with Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, is one of the founding agents of that office.

Down the road in Woodbury, the Compass office is located in the Woodbury Commons Shopping Center at 8285 Jericho Turnpike #16 and is home to local real estate experts including the Fran Mazer Team, Batui Morbi, Cheryl Goldman, Maddy Camay, and the Lisa Fasano Team.
