Due to inclement weather, the Clean Green Manorhaven event has been rescheduled.
The hour-long event to sweep sidewalks, pick up litter and plant bulbs along Manorhaven Boulevard will now take place on Nov. 3 instead of Oct. 27. The event, planned by Residents Forward, will begin at 9 a.m. Anyone who lives in or cares about Port Washington is encouraged to attend, although children must come with adult supervision.
Participants should wear work clothes and can park at Manorhaven Village Hall, located at 33 Manorhaven Blvd. For more information, call 516-767-9151.
