Bosworth, Zuckerman attend Crohn’s and Colitis Walk

Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Member Peter Zuckerman attended the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) Long Island Chapter’s Gold Coast Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis Walk at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington on Oct. 14.

This is the fourth year that the CCFA held the Gold Coast Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis Walk. The family-friendly community walk is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to assist in finding a cure and improving the quality of life for those affected by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Bosworth and Zuckerman presented the Long Island chapter of CCFA with a proclamation in recognition of the fourth Gold Coast Take Steps Walk, as well as presented a proclamation to the event’s honorees: Medical Honoree, Dr. Toni Webster; and Adult Honored Hero, Kara Worth.
