Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth attended the North Shore Animal League’s Lewyt Humane Awards Luncheon on June 13 at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck. The event honored Elizabeth Freed with the Sandra Atlas Bass Philanthropist Award, as well as the cat Pretty Kitty with the Scarlett Award for Animal Heroism. Supervisor Bosworth also presented a proclamation to Sandra Atlas Bass in recognition of her fifth year chairing the Lewyt Humane Awards Luncheon.
