Those looking for a meaningful way to commemorate the Sept. 11 anniversary are invited to attend the Interfaith Candlelight Memorial Service at 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 11 in Mary Jane Davies Park on Plandome Road in Manhasset.
The service will be led by clergy from Manhasset’s synagogues and churches. A choir from Manhasset High School will sing. Members of the Manhasset/Lakeville Fire Department will hoist a large American flag behind the gazebo.
