Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) joined the Elmont business community in celebrating the grand opening of ATAX in Elmont on Saturday, Jan. 6.

The franchise, which is operated by accountant Michael Jay Greenberg, is located at 474 Hempstead Turnpike and offers tax preparation and bookkeeping services for individual and business clients. Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Legislator Solages presented Greenberg with a Nassau County Legislature citation in recognition of the momentous occasion.

“With tax season fast approaching, many of us will have anxiety thinking about preparing the documents to complete our filings – and the services offered by this new business will go a long way toward alleviating some of that stress,” Solages said. “Thank you to Michael and his entire team for opening this business in the heart of Elmont and investing in the future of our community.”
