King Kullen promotes Brian Hattermann to district manager

King Kullen Grocery Co. Inc. has promoted Brian Hattermann to District Manager. Hattermann joined King Kullen in 2001 and will be responsible for King Kullen stores in western Nassau County. In his new role, Hattermann will report directly to King Kullen Vice President of Store Operations Frank Vassallo.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce Brian’s promotion to District Manager,” stated Vassallo. “He is a hard worker and accomplished manager with strong leadership skills who is ready to expand his managerial expertise. In his new position as District Manager, Brian will help ensure that each store meets company standards while overseeing recruitment, training, and people management.”

Hattermann was made a Co-Assistant Manager in 2005 before his promotion to Assistant Manager in 2006. In 2017, he was named Manager of the St. James King Kullen and most recently served as store manager of the Bay Shore King Kullen.

Founded in 1930 by Michael J. Cullen, King Kullen operates 28 supermarkets and five Wild by Nature stores in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
