On March 19, Rivkin Radler Partner Tamika Hardy received a Diversity in Business award from Long Island Business News. The award highlights the outstanding achievements of professionals who actively support the growth of diversity and equality in our community.

As the first African-American partner at Rivkin Radler, Hardy is an inspiration to law students and firm associates, serving as a mentor and role model for all they can achieve, both personally and professionally.

In addition, she focuses her time and energy on diversity-related organizations and activities in the local community.

Hardy is a member of the Nassau County Committee on Equal Justice in the Courts and from 2022-2023, she served on the New York State Bar Association’s committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Additionally, she was treasurer of the National Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section – the nation’s oldest bar association of African American attorneys, jurists and law students. She is currently co-chair of the organization’s annual Labor and Employment Conference.

Most recently, Hardy served as president of the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association. She currently sits on its board of directors, where she participates in a variety of community outreach programs, including legal clinics for the local community.
