Dr. Navin Arora, founder of Borealis Dermatology, announced the opening of his second location in Syosset, New York at 175 Jericho Turnpike, Suite 320, which opened in early November. The state-of-the-art digital office is the second location of Borealis Dermatology, an independent practice owned by Dr. Arora. Borealis Dermatology’s first office, located in Garden City, opened in late 2019. Nassau County Legislators Joshua Lafazan and Arnold Drucker also joined in celebration.
“Following my career in the military, I set the goal of building a practice with multiple offices and a team of highly skilled professionals. With the opening of this office, we have taken an important step forward. Our new office is conveniently located adjacent to Syosset Hospital and close to many other medical practices. My team and I are focused on providing comprehensive dermatological care and an exceptional experience for our patients. Our state-of-the-art office offers a complete suite of offerings from ascetics to medical treatments,” said Dr. Navin Arora, founder of Borealis Dermatology.
The new Syosset office is 3,600 square feet and will have 10 medical professionals and staff by mid-2023. The facility includes 10 exam and treatment rooms and a medispa. Each room has full AV digital capability to help discuss and monitor patients’ care.
The Syosset location will offer a full spectrum of medical, aesthetic and surgical dermatology services, including acne treatment, skin cancer facials, rash treatment, mole removals, hair and nail treatment, fillers and skin resurfacing, laser treatments and more.
“Our mission is to provide critical dermatological care and treatments as well as guide our patients through their everyday treatment and seasonal attention for their skin and hair. We are also committed to being part of the greater Syosset community and supporting local not-for-profits and veterans’ groups,” said Dr. Arora.
Dr. Arora has over 15 years of extensive professional experience within a wide range of roles at the clinical and leadership levels within the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and private sector. Previous healthcare experience ranges from the Federal level, nonprofit integrated health care systems and 12 years as an U.S. Army physician.
