From chair rentals stored in her garage to a 5,000 square feet warehouse and a new event space, Natasha Beekharry’s event business shows no signs of growing pains.

All-In-One Event Studio is a 3,000 square feet white box event space new to New Hyde Park.

Beekharry, the studio owner, said she knew the white box space would be perfect for her events, since it can be transformed to fit the theme of any party.

“There’s several different options for people to come in and not just have a party where you’re sitting down,” said Beekhary. She added that adults have decided to hire her for their own parties after seeing how fun the children’s mini golf parties are.

The event studio is fit for a range of small, intimate events, from birthday parties and baby showers to group paint nights and ceramics classes.

Beekharry is a one-stop shop for event planning. She has collected ample event décor over the years, including tables, a large 4,000 square feet outdoor tent and thousands of chairs in every shape and color imaginable. She now has her own event studio, and even handles party planning duties, including “consistently delicious” catering.

Beekharry said she goes above and beyond for her clients. She regularly constructs unique pieces to fit a party theme. Beekharry said at the time of this interview her team was in the process of building a custom castle for a child’s Frozen-themed party that weekend.

“It’s an experience,” said Beekharry. “You’re not just getting a space with tables and chairs.”

And with that all-in-one experience comes the dreaded task of cleaning up, which Beekharry handles. She prides herself on keeping party chairs, tables and supplies squeaky clean, a hygienic precaution top of mind for many post-COVID.

As a result, Beekharry and her husband, Andre, spend a good chunk of their nights after an event sat in front of the television cleaning each and every seat covering – that is, after they have lugged the dozens of chair cushions home.

“We set up, we take down, we clean up – we do everything,” said Beekharry. “When [customers] come to me, even though I do party rentals, I help book their photography, limo, you name it.”

This drive comes naturally to Beekharry, who has always had a flair for grandiose events. Her event-planning passion goes back to her own childhood, when her parents constantly hosted events for her large, close-knit family after moving to the U.S. from Guyana, to more recent years, in which she hosted extravagant annual gingerbread house parties at her home for her own children.

And that is where Beekharry’s business really started – with her children. As a mom of four boys, Beekharry was constantly hosting events on top of working full-time as the head of global payroll and compliance for Equinox, a position she still holds.

And hosting birthday parties for each of her four sons – born in March, June, July and September – meant a lot of back-to-back tent, table and chair rentals for Beekharry.

“I said to my husband, ‘We’re always going to be doing this. We’re always gonna have parties for the boys,’” said Beekharry. “‘I want to buy some tables and chairs and we’ll just put them in the garage.’”

What started as a dozen tables and 50 chairs in their two-car garage in New Hyde Park quickly expanded.

Beekharry, ever the businessperson, decided to rent out the tables and chairs during her off-season to family and friends. This news spread by word of mouth, so Beekharry registered as a business and began renting out the equipment to customers.

Then, she bought a small tent to add to her collection. To keep up with the times, she bought some more chairs in different colors and styles.

Now, Beekharry’s collection would never fit in her garage. Instead, it is settled in a 5000 square feet warehouse on Cherry Lane. The next step? A 10,000 square feet warehouse, Beekharry hopes.

Her husband, Andre, resigned from his job in the medical field to help with the business, where he handles the heavy lifting – setting up tents and tables in customers’ backyards. And Beekharry’s sister, Amanda, handles the marketing side of the business.

Beekharry hopes All-In-One continues to grow. She has dreams of opening a waterfront venue and eventually creating a small franchise.

It is no surprise, of course, that the same reason Beekharry fell into this business is the same reason she is fighting to keep it growing.

“I’m building the brand, this enterprise, so that my children can eventually have something that they can take further when I’m long gone,” shared Beekharry.

All-In-One Event Studio will be hosting its first open house from March 22 to March 24. Registration is available here.
