I am writing in support of Mayor Ted Rosen for re-election because he cares about the people of Great Neck Plaza.
He is interested in bringing new businesses to Great Neck Plaza as well as creating traffic-calming initiatives for improving pedestrian safety. The latter is particularly important to those of us who are seniors.
Because of Mayor Rosen’s support, I have run the annual Great Neck Plaza Poetry Contest for 14 years. This year we received a record number of entries. The winners will be announced very soon.
The village also posts a poem each month on the village website and on signposts throughout the village.
We need a mayor who appreciates the arts.
I urge the residents of Great Neck Plaza to vote for Ted Rosen for mayor and for his running mates, Pam Marksheid and Michael DeLuccia, for trustee.
