North Hempstead Supervisor Jennifer DeSena attended the Plant A Row for the Hungry’s exhibit at the Port Washington Public Library on Jan. 11.
The exhibit features the history of this wonderful organization, which encourages Port Washington residents to grow extra vegetables for those in need, and educates children about the benefits of growing their own vegetables.
