Mineola Union Free School District congratulates Mineola High School boys varsity soccer coach Al Cavalluzzo on being named Nassau County Coach of the Year by the Nassau County Soccer Coaches Association (NCSCA).
Coach Cavalluzzo has been a member of the Mineola soccer program for over twenty years, bringing his focus on strategy and sportsmanship to hundreds of student-athletes over the years. His leadership has also led to numerous awards and trophies, including the 2023 Nassau County Championship, which earned the boys varsity soccer team a spot in the state semifinals for the first time since 2005.
