Manhasset Secondary School has secured its position once again as a Scholar-Athlete School of Distinction, a recognition bestowed by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. It is among 84 School of Distinction winner during the 2022-2023 academic year.
The school’s accomplishment is accredited to its feat of all 33 varsity teams meeting the criteria and earning the scholar-athlete team award in the course of the 2022-2023 school year. To qualify, a team must have 75% of its roster members with a grade point average of 90 or higher, a standard that Manhasset teams have surpassed.
The Manhasset Public Schools extends its congratulations for this noteworthy distinction and the demonstration of academic excellence.
