Former Citibank branch property sold for $2.2M
The spot where a Citibank branch stood has been sold for $2.2 million.

In Manhasset, a former Citibank branch property recently changed hands for $2.2 million. The Flushing-based buyer, Starry Stone LLC, purchased the building, which sits on 0.46 acres and spans 3,475 square feet at 66 Bayview Ave.

Before the sale, the property was occupied by a Citibank branch, which closed earlier in the year. The building itself was originally constructed back in 1960 and was made of brick. In December 2017, Citibank sold the property to a real estate investment firm based in Commack, and the transaction amounted to $2.475 million. After the sale, the bank leased the building back from the buyer.

Then in April 2020 the Manhasset property was sold again, this time to a private investor who paid $3.375 million for it. In the recent transactions, Starry Stone became the latest owner at a lower price of $2.475 million.
