On Feb. 1, Hillside Grade School participated in Global School Play Day, a day or designated period for educators to devote time to “unstructured play.” This annual celebration, held in February, aims to highlight the positive effects of playtime and provide students with social-emotional learning.

Buddy Classes of first and sixth graders, second and fifth graders, and third and fourth graders joined together to draw, play board games or cards, chat and more.
