The grounds and courtyard at Manor Oaks School were transformed by the planting of colorful flowers and the placement of rocks with messages of kindness.

This beautification project, coordinated by first-grade teacher Christina Sciarotto and art teacher Jenna Marotta, was this year’s Unity Project. The school hosts this annual initiative to bring the school community together.

Students worked on their kindness rocks in art class with Marotta. Additionally, staff created their own kindness rocks during their April faculty meeting.

On June 2, students were encouraged to bring in their own small shovel to help beautify the courtyard with the kindness rocks.
