Floral Park-Bellerose School fourth graders are practicing their coding while acting as landscape artists in their recent Discovery Lab lessons.

First, students designed and sketched plans for their golf courses on the district-provided iPads. Once the plans were finalized, they were able to start the construction process. Each team is utilizing a large piece of green paper to represent the golf course. Students must also implement 3D features like tunnels and bridges.

Along with the creation of the courses, students have been coding Sphero BOLT robots to be able to effectively complete the golf course.
