I am happy to announce that I will be voting next Tuesday, March 15th for Great Neck Plaza Mayor Ted Rosen, Deputy Mayor Pamela Marksheid and Michael DeLuccia as Trustee in our village elections.

The work of leading the Village of Great Neck Plaza is difficult and takes an experienced hand. I have seen the efforts Mayor Rosen and his slate have put into this work, organizing concert and outdoor dining events over the summer, as well as working actively to both attract new merchants and restaurants to the Village while continuing to support existing merchants. These efforts have paid off as a number of new restaurants have opened over the last year while many local favorites continue to enjoy a steady stream of business.

Likewise, the Mayor’s experience, formerly as a trustee and Deputy Mayor, have been put to good use during various projects aimed at improving the Village’s infrastructure. In particular, the Village have undertaken major renovation projects to improve local parking options in two village garages and have repaved a number of the village’s roads. The Mayor and his slate have also prioritized pedestrian and traffic safety, making traffic improvements in various areas.

In hectic times we need local leaders who have experience in managing our municipal affairs. Mayor Rosen, Deputy Mayor Marksheid and Trustee DeLuccia are just that and I am supporting their re-election.
