To those who had any doubt of the need for the parking lot addition to Great Neck North High School, for which construction will commence shortly, here is a photo of the street surrounding the school.
At dismissal time, pick-ups and drop-offs make these streets impassable, not to mention all the accidents caused by students racing to rare spots in the morning.

Tell this guy to look at the EMPTY STUDENT PARKING LOTS. Then and only then will he understand the waste. He took these photos when the student parking lots had plenty of spots. That is the myth about his statements.
What do pick ups and drop offs have to do with students getting a parking lot? A hundred more kids will still clog the streets. Use the parking lot at Parkwood: traffic will not be concentrated and you will save the tax paying residents a lot of money – more money to spend on education not frivolities for spoiled kids. While your at it, impeach the sitting board of education. This should never have been passed. What a pathetic group NOT representing our real needs.
Doesn’t he get it?? Student drivers will block up the road more than the drop offs. Your picture is showing the wrong area.
