Manhasset High School athletes Michael Perulli, Athan Anderson and Tommy Fruhauf participated on Aug. 23 in the Runner’s Edge Tobay Triathlon & Tri-Relay as a tri-relay team.
Held at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay Harbor, Tobay Triathlon is Long Island’s largest triathlon with 822 individual competitors and 80 teams.
The Manhasset boys placed 10th with a total time of 1:11:35.75. Michael Perulli swam a 1Ž2 mile in 19:18, Athan Anderson biked 9.8 miles (15K) in 29:06 and Tommy Fruhauf ran a 5K in 21:07. A great time for their first tri-team relay!
